Things such as Jar Jar's sudden bursts of agility, his luck in battle, and his ability to convince people to do what he wants are all cited. It really paints the character in a completely different light; so much so that it makes you want to go back and watch the prequels again (no small feat mind you given that they're...you know, the prequels.)
More than that, the article posits that Jar Jar could be the big bad of the new trilogy, and as such, become the ultimate villain of the Star Wars saga as a whole. Hard as it may be to believe, I actually want this to happen now. No joke, this argument is so well put together that I'll be disappointed if it doesn't turn out to be the case.
This is also one instance where I would encourage you to read the comments. They find other things that only add credence to the idea, such as cuts to the character where there really shouldn't be one, Jar Jar's actions throughout the movies, or Jar Jar's sudden change in mannerisms when he's skulking around a hallway and suddenly runs into other characters. The pieces all fit. In all likelihood, the odds of this coming to fruition are incredibly slim. Credit where it's due though, this writer is brilliant. Stone cold brilliant. Hats off to you, this is amazing.
