You can read my review of the film here.
Generally, this area is dedicated to a sort of "Cliff's Notes" of the review, listing some brief pros and cons and giving a vague overview of what I thought. With this, though, I think mileage is going to vary across the board.
Twilight is brought back to her roots, as the movie hinges on her learning how to make friends. You might like the back to basics approach, or you might view it as a step backward for her.
The plot being a weird backdoor pilot for a nigh identical spin-off franchise may bother some, but it does make for a nice self-contained story that doesn't require you to have seen the show to enjoy. Then again, people who haven't seen the show likely won't understand what's happening anyway, so again, it's a double edged sword.
All in all, the movie is OK. It has some good humor, but it doesn't hit quite the same heights as the show does.
