*While the DVD's mark these as two separate seasons, that was done for simplicity's sake.  Officially, all of these episodes mark the first season of the show.

Pros

- Great, likable characters
- Solid premise
- The show can be quite emotionally poignant when it wants to be.
- Can balance dark, serious stories with more lighthearted humorous elements fairly successfully

Cons

- Falls into formula rather quickly as it always involves innocence or akuma, leaving little mystery or suspense
- For an action based show, the climaxes are underwhelming as the akuma rarely present a challenge to the heroes
- Komui

Overall

The show has promise and great elements, but it doesn't tap into its assets as well as you'd hope.  It can be uneven, but the legitimately bad episodes are few and far between.  When it hits its highs, it really is quite good, but there is also a lot of average filler.  Again, those episodes aren't bad, just nothing spectacular.
