Stephen King bibliography: Dolores Claiborne

You can read my review of the book here.

Pros

- Dolores makes for a strong narrative voice that gives the prose an added kick

- Strong, sympathetic characters. Except for Joe.  He isn't.

Cons

- No chapters. Readers need that stopping point to both act as an incentive to go a few more pages and to make for a nice starting point on picking up the book.

Overall

This was a decent read.  I wouldn't rank it among my favorite King works, but there's enough here to warrant checking out.  I would actually suggest tracking down an audio version of the book as the story's setup is a perfect fit for that medium.
