The other day, my roommate told me about this game he downloaded on his phone. It's sort of a variation on 20 questions. Basically, what you do is pick a character from a book or movie or tv show. The program than asks you a series of questions. As you give it more information, it narrows down the possible choices and tries to figure out who you're thinking of. The objective is to find a character who is either obscure enough, or similar enough to someone else, that it takes the program that much longer to find out who (s)he is.
My roommate got rather hooked on the game, and, to wit, it is quite fun. I took a crack at it myself and my first pick was Scooby Dum. I was quite surprised at how quickly it figured that out. A lot of people have apparently forgotten about Scooby Dum, but not as many as I thought. The program figured that one out in about 15 questions or so.
Later on, I took another crack at it, this time going with Gozer, the main villain from Ghostbusters. That time it took about 22 questions.
The only downside to the game (besides its addictiveness) is the fact that you'll realize that the game knows who you're thinking about before it gives you an answer. As you get further along, the questions become more and more specific and you can tell that it knows about 5 questions before it lets you know that it knows. I'm not sure if it's just being thorough or if it's just doing it to screw with your head, but there you go.
You can find the game here.
