Late night ramblings: The economy

You know, with $7,000 a week for life, I think I might be able to get the economy going again.  It’ll take some doing, I’m not going to lie, but I think that I could pull it off.
You look at the debt clock and the numbers that we’re dealing with are so massive that it really does seem hopeless.  For a while I thought that even with those resources, that there wasn’t anything that could be done, but lately, I have reconsidered my stance and I do believe that I wouldn’t be out of the fight just yet.
With that level of income comes a fairly high level of taxation.  Now, some will cite this as a good thing, but alas, I cannot agree. As much as I’d like to think that I’d be helping to expedite the balancing of the budget and the balancing of this nation’s debt, it doesn’t amount to anything.  The government pulls in that much revenue in a second and the debt goes up by that amount in just as much time.  At best, it’ll slow things down, but not nearly enough to matter.
No, the real meat will come from attacking the private debt: mortgages, student loans, credit cards etc.  True, those numbers are also quite large, but at least there, there would be a noticeable impact.  Even though the money would eventually funnel back up to the rich, it would ease the burden on the working class and improve their situations so that they aren’t struggling quite as hard.  Hitting those figures will also reduce the amount of interest that accumulates so that the numbers don’t skyrocket as quickly.
I could supplement this by roaming Amazon and clearing out wish lists to help companies get people back to work.
Now, the question becomes, why doesn’t someone else attempt this? I don’t know.  To be fair, most don’t have access to that level of funds and, to people’s credits, they do their best to keep up with payments on things like their house, loans, and credit cards; but still, some added reinforcement couldn’t hurt.
What’s really baffling is the fact that the rich celebrities who ardently support the idea of wealth redistribution don’t do this.  They do realize that you don’t need the government to redistribute their wealth, right?  I can give you paypal email addresses of people and links to Amazon wishlists and Patreon campaigns if you need help getting the ball rolling.  Redistributing your wealth is something that you are more than capable of doing yourselves, I’m sure of it.
Hey, if some celebrity comes across this, by all means, take this idea and run with it.  I encourage you to do so.  In fact, you could probably do even more than I could, even with this hypothetical largess; or at the very least, accomplish it a lot faster.
