A new Dark Tower book in the works?

According to Stephen King's website, the master of horror is apparently plotting, or at the very least brainstorming, another book in his Dark Tower series.  If you're anything like me, your reaction upon reading this is, "Aroo?"

Sadly, it doesn't link to any article that expands on the idea.  We only get a blurb.  The working title is said to be The Wind Through the Keyhole.

Will this be an eighth book or will it be a tie in much like Insomnia and Black House?  I do not know.   My guess is the latter, but it could very well act as a sequel.  There's also the possibility that it's more along the lines of The Sisters of Eluria or the comics where it focuses on Roland, but takes place before the beginning of the first book.

The blurb says that it will be at least another eight months before King even begins writing the book so this is one of those things best kept on the back burner just so you don't drive yourself crazy waiting for it.

It's still pretty big news for any fan of the epic saga.  Fans were worried that King might not have even been able to finish the story and now we find out that not only will he have finished it, but he'll go one step beyond and give us another book.   As if a new release wasn't enough for a big week, we get the announcement that another entry in King's magnum opus might be on the horizon.
