One of the websites that I frequent to pass the time is That Guy with the Glasses. It's a sort of collection of comedic internet video review shows, most of which focus on old and sometimes obscure media that is absolutely dreadful. Last night, one of the contributors (who operates under the name of "The Distressed Watcher) did a segment talking about the opening scene from the It miniseries that was made back in 1990.
Even the best parts of the video are only chuckleworthy. A good portion of his jokes fall flat. There wasn't anything that really made me laugh hard. I would contest his quick assumption that the clown is evil, but then I remembered that all clowns are evil so his statement rings true. The fact that he's hiding in a sewer definitely doesn't help his case.
It's definitely not the best the site has to offer, but he does raise a few good points.
You also have to wonder why the kid would be lured into the sewer by the idea of cotton candy. I love cotton candy, but if you got it out of a sewer I would not hesitate to pass on it, whether I'm a six year old or not. That's just gross.
