Who is Lucy Hale? The name might not ring a bell with some people. It certainly didn't with me. However, after doing some research, I've found that she's done quite a bit of acting work. She's guest starred on shows like CSI: Miami (when asked if she wanted the role, she responded with YEEEEEAAAAHHHH!!!) as well as Wizards of Waverly Place, and The Bionic Woman
Hale has also taken regular starring roles in shows like The O.C., How I Met Your Mother, and Drake and Josh.
Lucy has been able to break into the big screen as well, starring in Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 as well as some other films such as the Lifetime movie, Sorority Wars.
Lucy was born on June 14, 1989 and has been acting since she was 15. She is currently starring in a television series called Pretty Little Liars.
In an interview with Popeater.com, Hale admitted to being a huge vampire fan, specifically, she is hooked on the HBO series, True Blood. She tells the website that she auditioned for a role in the Twilight movies, but it went to another actress.
She also says that she's on Twitter and loves it. She goes on to say that it's a great way to communicate with fans and almost feels like they are her friends. She also says that she loves the Disney Channel and has it on constantly.
Hale is still young so it isn't like her career is on the descent. She has gotten off to a strong start, appearing on popular shows that cover a wide range of genres. This grants her a bit of variety in roles so that she doesn't get typecast. She has run the gamut from one time appearances on television shows to feature length films, both theatrical and made for television.
Between this and her eagerness to interact with fans, it's no surprise that people have taken to her. In regards to future roles, there doesn't seem to be anything outside of the aforementioned television series. Time will tell if she shows up on any other shows or in any films. She says in the aforementioned interview that she definitely intends to branch into movies. It wouldn't be surprising as she enjoys taking on a variety of roles.
